工場のメンテナンス（電気・計装）担当者として、製造設備のメンテナンスを及び改善業務を行う。
1. メンテナンスチームの電気及び計装担当者として行動し、すべての電気・計装の作業（チーム・外注）を担当する。
2. 機器ベンダーと共に、製造設備の改善・変更・自動化を推進する。
3. 改善・変更されたプロセスの技術マニュアル、図面、モデル、トレーニング資料、予防保守計画、およびトラブルシューティングガイド等を作成し、チームメンバーに教育する。
4. 製造担当者とコミュニケーションを取り、PM活動（予防保全）を推進し、確実に行われるように管理する。
5. 製造設備（電気及び計装）の故障発生後に真の原因分析を行い、的確な再発防止対策を施す。
6. PLCシステムの良好な動作を維持するために監視・改善を施す。
7. 工場の使用エネルギーを監視し、必要な省エネルギー対策を立案・実行する。
8. 電気及び計装設備のスペアパーツを監視し、記録する。
