JOB

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and performing routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems. The successful candidate will possess a strong knowledge of electrical codes, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. Previous experience in electrical work and relevant certifications are required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.

• Prepare for, hook up, maintain, and disconnect show power as required.

• Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.

• Ensures piping complies with electrical codes.

• Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.

• Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.

• Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.

• Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.

• Replaces circuit breakers as needed.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Assist, as required, other skilled trades in a variety of maintenance repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Journeyman's License preferred.

• Must successfully complete pre-employment background check screening.

• State of Florida driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Five (5) years electrician experience preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of National Electric Code< >Strong mechanical understanding of equipment.

• Ability to decipher problems and remedy same.

• Ability to read and decipher blueprints, schematics and working equipment documents.

• Ability to work both independently and in team-oriented environments.

• Detail oriented w/ excellent organizational skills.

• Creative and proactive problem solver.

• Ability to generate trust and support.

• Computer knowledge.

• Team player with complete knowledge of safety in the workplace.

• Ability to work with job-related tools.

• Effective written and oral communication.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.

• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language

• Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people.

• Ability to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.

• Ability to work in loud environments.

• Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times.

• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures.

• Must be able to climb ladders, kneel, bend, stoop, and squat without any physical movement restriction.

• Must be able to work comfortably at high heights using man lifts, truss, ladders, and catwalks.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
