About the Opportunity:
Chelsea Piers is looking to hire three experienced electricians to support our growing business. You will be part of the hard working and dedicated team that keeps our businesses operating smoothly. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues across the Chelsea Piers property. This role reports to the Facilities Site Engineer. Your primary work location will be at our flagship Chelsea location, but there may be occasional work at our other NYC facilities.
As the Electrician, you will be expected to:
- Follow all safety guidelines and ensure compliance with electrical codes
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues across the property
- Perform installations and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
- Work both independently and collaboratively to solve problems
- Submit accurate work orders and reports using a mobile app
- Communicate effectively with staff, coworkers, and vendors
- Maintain professionalism and high standards of workmanship

General working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm, with nights and weekends occasionally required to accommodate business needs. Regular overtime may also be available for qualified candidates. Positions are for immediate hire.

QualificationsAbout You:
You have at least 5 years of experience in maintenance or construction environments. You also have:
- Valid NYS driver’s license
- OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Certification for ladder, scissor lift, and scaffolding safety (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability, including occasional holidays, weekends, and overnight work
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
