Position Summary
ASSA ABLOY Fenestration LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in our industrial facilities.
Essential Job Functions
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with local and national codes and regulations
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Work with a team of electricians and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety procedures and regulations
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Journeyman electrician license or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical industry
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Working knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
Education & Certification
High school diploma or equivalent
