Role: Electrician
Reports To: General Manager and/or Field Manager
Status: Full-time, Permanent
Centre: Robs Albertan/Accent Heating
Location: Edmonton, AB
The Electrician is a member of the field team and works on a variety of projects within the Residential HVAC sector.
Responsibilities:
• Connect, test and maintain electrical systems.
• Install, alter, repair and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical code specifications.
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and ensure compliance with codes.
• Work closely with lead electrician as required.
Qualifications:
• Must be a registered apprentice with the appropriate provincial authority.
• 2nd year or higher apprenticeship is required.
• Residential experience would be an asset.
• Prior experience as an electrician apprentice required.
• Comfortable working outdoors.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and experience.
• Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform the job.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• The ability to work occasional overtime and weekends as required.
• The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.
