POSITION SUMMARY – Responsible for maintenance, installation and repair of electrical equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES, OR JOB DUTIES –

• Maintain, install, rebuild, and repair equipment per specifications
• Trouble shoot and repair electrical wiring, PLC's, controllers, lighting controls, and electrical motors in a production environment
• Analyze electrical breakdowns
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
• Stay current on electrical codes and OSHA regulations
• Consult with Supervision on needed repairs
• Maintain general housekeeping

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES –

• Other duties as required and assigned by Management

QUALIFICATIONS –

• Good working knowledge of electronics, programmable logic controllers and their applications
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read and write English
• Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
• Some electrical construction and maintenance experience
• 1-to-2-year vocational certificate or related technical degree

EXPERIENCE –

• 0-1 year electrical experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS –

Hand Movement Sitting Crawling

Reading Lifting 30 lbs. or more Twisting/Turning

Writing Pushing/Pulling Respiratory Fit

Hand/Eye Coordination Bending Operate Motorized Vehicle

Standing Climbing Others (detail below)

WORKING CONDITIONS –

Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, and forklift traffic. Indoor and Outdoor weather, hot,

cold, wet, and humid conditions. Exposure to chemicals and nuisance dusts.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS –

Bump hat, eye and ear protection, hair net. Other safety equipment as required per Seneca Foods Safety

Policy.

ACCOUNTABILITY –

Responsible for completion of all job assignments in accordance with established procedures to meet quality,

production, and safety goals. Failure to properly lay out installations of equipment could result in production

loss or impact product quality. Not practicing safe behavior could result in accidents.
