  • Residential Roster: 56 hours per week. Monday – Friday - 10 hours and 6 hours on Saturdays.

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has full-time permanent opportunities for Electrical Tradespersons to join our team at BlueScope Steel in Port Kembla. In this role, you will apply your expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation installation for the Number 6 Blast Furnace Project.

ABOUT YOU

  • Trade Qualified: Hold an Electrical trade qualification with an Electrical licence with experience working within a heavy industry or power station environment.
  • Technically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks.
  • Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.
  • Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card, EWP ticket (desirable). Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical.
