YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

TheSuperintendentisresponsibleforaspecificareaofdirecting,training,andadministratingtheefforts for all Subcontractors. The Superintendent communicates on a regular basis with the Project Manager and Subcontractor Divisions regarding projects, project timelines, and project startups and staffing required

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • MeetsonaregularbasiswiththeProjectManagerandsubcontractorstoco-ordinatethe standardization of processes and resolution of mutual concerns.

  • WorkswiththeProjectManagerintheestablishmentofnewhiringprocessesandproceduresfor field personnel.

  • Schedulingandcoordinationofmaterialtoshiptojobsite.

  • Overseeandensurethatallprojectsinspecificareaarecompletedtoforecast.

  • OverseestheSafetyProgramandassuresthatallSafetyStandardsarebeingmetandmaintained

  • EnsurethattheFieldStafffollowpertinentgovernmentregulationsandcontract documents.

  • Assignfieldstaffingthatwillmeetorexceedtheprojecttimelinesandbudgetsinconjunctionwith the Director of Production.

  • CoordinatewiththeTools/EquipmentManagerregardingtoolsandinventoryasrequiredfor projects.

  • ManagestheProductionandFieldStaffingTeam foraspecificarea.Isresponsiblefortheoverall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the field staff.

  • Assistsintheinterviewing,hiring,andtrainingoftheFieldStaffandthesupport staff.

  • AssistsinthedevelopmentoftrainingprogramsforFieldStaffingthatensuresourCompany excellence.

  • ConductsareaProductionandFieldStaffmeetingswhenrequired

  • Thedutiesandresponsibilitiesareintendedtodescribethegeneralnatureandscopeofworkbeing performed by this position.This is not acomplete listing and other duties will beassigned basedon the position’s role within the business unit.

  • Prioritizeandmanagemultipletasks,changingprioritiesasnecessary

  • Workunderpressureandadapttochangingrequirementswithapositiveattitude

  • Oralandwrittencommunicationskillsasrequiredforthe position

  • Self-motivated,proactiveandaneffectiveteamplayer

  • Interacteffectivelyandprofessionallywithalllevelsofemployees,bothmanagementand staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • Highschooldiplomaorequivalent

  • Minimum5years’supervisoryexperienceinsimilarfacility,constructiontechnology,methodsand equipment, tools and work procedures required

  • Canbeacombinationofeducation,training,andrelevant experience

TRAVEL:

  • Upto20%

WORKINGCONDITIONS:

  • Variableworkenvironment;workisconductedbothindoorsandoutdoorswithvarying environmental conditions

  • Uptoseveralhoursperdaymaybe spentoperatingamotorvehicle

  • Generalworkenvironment-sittingforextended periods, standing,walking,typing,carrying,pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

  • Exposuretotheenvironmentsofcustomerfacilities

  • Noiselevelistypically lowtomedium;it canbeloudonajob site.

  • Occasionalliftingofupto75 lbs.
