Job Identification

We are looking for an Electrical Technician to be a part of our Supply Chain team located in Kazakhstan.

What We Expect

  • ensure proper state, uninterrupted and reliable performance of the electrical devices and equipment, their right exploitation, on-time qualitative repair and modernization in line with maintenance instructions, approved drawings and charts, current technical terms and norms;
  • learn the working conditions of electrical devices, reveal their early torn, take measures to prevent and eliminate such occasions;
  • instruct the staff using those devices about exploitation rules and trauma preventive measures;
  • manage the work of electricians, control their performance quality, observance of the technology, HSE rules;
  • take participation in liquidation of defects in performance of equipment, in their repair, assembling and adjustment, in electrical measurements and testing;
  • take part in making applications for materials, spare parts, tools, and ensure their saving and rational consumption;
  • take part in investigation of equipment failure and in developing measures to prevent production failures and traumas;
  • take part in annual inventory of Company assets;

Qualifications:

  • Work experience: at least 3 years in the specialty, with an electrical safety group not lower than III, for voltages up to and above 1000 V.

  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering, radio engineering, telemechanics, electronics, as well as the design and electrical circuits of various electrical machines, devices, and measuring instruments.

  • Knowledge of load standards for electric motors, transformers, cables, and wires of different cross-sections and voltages.

  • Knowledge of primary and secondary switching circuits of distribution devices.

  • Knowledge of occupational safety rules and regulations, industrial hygiene, fire protection, and environmental protection.
