Our aim is to create tailored energy solutions for evolving global energy markets.We are looking for an Offshore Electrical Technician to join BW Offshore's Offshore FPSO - Catcher.

The position is part of the offshore Maintenance Team.Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Operate and monitor the power plant, electrical distribution system, and Power Management SystemPerform condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the maintenance management systemMaintain emergency power systems and ensure electrical equipment retains the required Ex ratingSupport pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as requiredEnsure compliance with SEMS, Permit to Work requirements, and safe working practices, including safe management of vendors and contractorsPrioritize maintenance activities to ensure safety-critical backlog is kept to a minimum, coordinating work with other departments as necessaryMaintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, daily logs, reports, and comprehensive shift handoversParticipate in emergency response, safety drills, training, and on-the-job development, including supporting new colleagues and traineesExperince: Offshore UK and FPSO experience is desirable but not essential3 years’ experience in a similar positionSubstantial Oil and Gas experience may be used as a substitute for formal qualificationsPrevious work in a multinational environment is desirableSkills: Good interpersonal and communication skillsFlexibility, honesty and reliability are considered important factorsTeamplayer, able to assist, interact and cooperate well with othersGood computer skillsWe offer: Competitive terms and conditions Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion BW Offshore is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all.
