As an Electrical Technician (ATEX & Heat Trace Inspections) working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing commissioning and decommissioning of heat trace systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ATEX Inspections on new electrical and mechanical installations and verify correct installation against design documents.
  • Conduct ATEX inspections (maintenance) on existing electrical and mechanical installations and complete inspection records for same.
  • Generate detailed reports for any issues found and present, along with suggested remediation works, to management.
  • Update trackers and generate associated metrics to give a visualisation of progress versus schedule.
  • Generation and execution of both commissioning and decommissioning documentation to support new installations or remove existing installations for both ATEX and Heat Trace systems.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance on existing heat trace installations when required.
  • Update heat trace panel schedules.
  • Support fault-finding activities when required.
  • Working in a cross-functional team of skilled Technicians
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

Skills Required

  • Experience completing ATEX inspections is an advantage but not required – Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
  • Excellent PC skills.
  • Ability to read electrical/P&ID drawings.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused when dealing with multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
  • Must have strong documentation skills.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • Trade Qualified Electrician with 5+ Years’ experience.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
