About the opportunity:

As an Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical systems across our high-speed pulp and paper manufacturing plant.

  • Shift Details: Day shift (Monday to Friday)
  • Pay Details: $60ph + OT

What you'll do:

  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and plant assets.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and condition monitoring of plant equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement projects focused on reliability, safety, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimise plant performance.
  • Participate in breakdown response and after-hours call-out activities as required.
  • Be available for standby/on-call duties on a 1-in-4-week roster.

What You Will Bring:

  • A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Experience within a manufacturing, pulp and paper, FMCG, packaging, recycling, or heavy industrial environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience working with PLCs, VSDs, motor control centres (MCCs), and industrial automation systems.
