NSW - RockdaleJoin ConnectSydney as an Electrical Technician in the lane of Road Assets Excellence!
ConnectSydney, a joint venture of ServiceStream, Boral, and Johnson Controls, in partnership with Transport for NSW, is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone.
We have an opportunity available for a talented individual to join us as an Electrical Technician. You will be responsible for planned maintenance, major and minor upgrades on our network, fault finding and incident response, and repairs across a diverse range of asset classes such as traffic control signals (TCS), variable message signs (VMS), traffic monitoring units (TMU), variable speed limit signs (VSLS) school signs and street lighting, On-site training provided along with working in pairs on your day to day job, with occasional solo work.
When rostered you will be required to work a day shift, afternoon shift and night shift, you will also be required to do weekend callouts over a 24-hour period, which includes planned and emergency generator connects and disconnects, emergency response, additional allowances will be provided to cover weekend callouts.
