Nucor Tubular Products-Marseilles is seeking applicants for the Electrical Technician position. The Electrical Technician will safely provide support to the maintenance and operations teams by performing routine preventative, breakdown, and upgrade maintenance as necessary in order to improve the production equipment and process during the course of normal production hours. Duties include but are not limited to repair calls, preventative maintenance (PM) tasks, equipment troubleshooting, and installation, root cause analysis, and any other necessary task(s) that are outside of the normal capabilities of production personnel. The successful candidate will demonstrate the willingness and ability to troubleshoot, use good judgment, and make proper decisions in compliance with safety policies (JHAs, SJPs, LOTO) throughout the facility and with equipment used and maintained, all of which are necessary for meeting job expectations and the prevention of downtime. General mechanical and electrical knowledge is necessary. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, and off shifts.
