Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of plant and facility equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of industrial electrical systems to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
• 
  Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on low voltage electrical panels (up to 400V)
• 
  Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of production machinery and industrial equipment
• 
  Maintain and service cranes, lifting equipment, and rotating machinery
• 
  Perform maintenance on motors, fans, blowers, and power tools
• 
  Conduct PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) and repair faulty equipment
• 
  Carry out vibration monitoring on rotating equipment
• 
  Maintain paint booths, ventilation systems, and oil burners
• 
  Record equipment failures, downtime, and maintenance activities
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures
• 
  Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifting equipment when required

Requirements

• 
  Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 
  Minimum 3–7 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• 
  Strong knowledge of:
  • 
    Electrical panels and troubleshooting
  • 
    Motors, VFDs (inverters), and soft starters
  • 
    Industrial equipment and production machinery
• 
  Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance
• 
  Familiarity with electrical testing tools and procedures
• 
  Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• 
  Good understanding of safety practices and standards
• 
  Physically fit and able to work in a plant environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  Experience in automotive or heavy industry
• 
  Knowledge of cranes and lifting systems
• 
  PAT testing certification
• 
  Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge
