We are looking for a talented and skilled Electrical Technician in Steel Melt Shop to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for working with various electrical components, ensuring proper functionality, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with other teams to support steel production operations. Maintain and repair machinery and equipment to ensure the efficient and safe operation of steel production processes.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in Electrical Engineering or related field is a plusMust have 5 years' of experience in Electrical Maintenance in Steel Making Plant
United Steel Industrial Company (Kuwait Steel) was established in 1996 by Kuwaiti investors.In the four years that followed Kuwait Steel in collaboration with VOEST Alpine of Austria erected the first fully automated rolling mill in Kuwait. Its first rolling mill, which is built on a 40,000 square meter land area, has an annual production capacity of 750,000 metric tons of reinforcing steel bars with sizes ranging from 8mm to 40mm in diameter. Today, Kuwait Steel is composed of two rolling mill plants with a combined annual production capacity of 1.4 million metric tons and a steel making plant that produces 1.2 million metric tons per year. All steel plants are running full production capacities, catering to market demand.
