PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work directly with the Engineering Team to develop electronics test systems
• Embedded software programming using C
• Troubleshoot and disposition PCB assemblies that have failed in-process testing
• Work with PCB Contract Manufacturers to refine testing and resolve issues
• Perform validation testing on new products and write test reports documenting test setup and results
• Work with Manufacturing and Test Engineers to develop in-house test systems

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

An associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology, in progress, is acceptable

Post HS Trade School Certificate in Electronics

A high school diploma is required

Experience/Skills

• Experience operating electronics test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and Frequency Counters
• Experience reading and understanding schematic and wiring diagrams
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as wiring systems and building test fixtures
• Soldering experience
• Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office and detailed knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience with embedded microcontrollers and programming languages is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
• Must be a good communicator – verbal and written

ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports to Senior Level Engineer

LOCATION

The position resides at the Accutrol Factory in Danbury, CT.
