We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Team Leader to join our Brooklyn Plant. This role sits between our Maintenance Electricians and Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, providing hands‑on technical support while leading day‑to‑day electrical activities on shift.

Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of plant equipment, while supporting and guiding the electrical team on shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and supporting a small team of electricians on shift, providing technical guidance and coordination of daily activities
• Performing hands‑on electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs across plant equipment
• Diagnosing faults across PLCs, drives, motors, instrumentation, and automation systems
• Supporting the execution of planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance tasks
• Assisting with commissioning, installation, and modification of electrical equipment
• Ensuring adherence to safety standards, OH&S requirements, LOTO procedures, and site policies
• Working closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to minimise downtime
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and performance
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records within CMMS (SAP)

What You Will Bring to the Table:

• Electrical trade qualification with strong industrial maintenance experience
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (food industry highly regarded)
• Strong troubleshooting capability across PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens), VSDs, and control systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead or step up into a leadership role within a trades environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support and guide a team
• Solid understanding of maintenance planning and execution
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving and organisational skills
