Electrical System Engineer (m/f/d)

As an Electrical System Engineer, you are a central part of our product development from the very beginning and are responsible for the overall electrical concept of our luminaires.

You define electrical requirements, develop robust architectures, and ensure that all electronic components work together optimally. Working closely with interdisciplinary teams, you contribute your electrical engineering expertise to create innovative and reliable lighting solutions for professional applications.

Responsibilities

• Define the electrical concept and architecture of luminaires
• Specify electrical requirements and select and integrate suitable electronic components (e.g., LED modules, drivers, sensors, communication modules)
• Support product development projects as an electrical engineering expert within interdisciplinary teams
• Commission samples and prototypes, organize tests, and ensure correct integration
• Prepare production-relevant documentation such as wiring diagrams and electrical settings
• Coordinate technically with internal and external partners and provide 3rd-level support for quality issues
• Analyze own and competitor products and share knowledge within the team

Skills & Experience

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, University) in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Experience or strong interest in electrical/electronic engineering, ideally in low-voltage technology
• Good understanding of the electromechanical overall system of a luminaire
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communicator and team player with a hands-on mentality
• Very good English skills; German is a plus
