Static-based Supervisor role at Sunbury supporting BP operations.
Core hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-17:00 (40 hours/week) with flexible start times and call-out availability as needed.
Purpose
Provide efficient Control of Work services, coordinate project works, moves and operational activities across the BP portfolio.
Support planning, monitoring and auditing of engineering work while ensuring safe execution and timely completion of PPMs and work orders.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee visiting contractors and manage work delivery to meet quality objectives and SLAs
Ensure safe work execution and adherence to safety systems
Complete reactive helpdesk requests within SLA requirements
Support client and JLL projects by coordinating activities and advising on Control of Work limitations
Issue Permits to Work and isolation certificates for mechanical works
Conduct workplace inspections, audits and point-of-work risk assessments
Coordinate with FM teams for isolations, reconnections and work handovers
Supervise technical team and promote One Team approach with all staff and supply partners
Provide emergency response, call-out support and escalate critical incidents • Maintain forward maintenance plans and asset condition tracking via Correigo
Ensure all engineering documentation is properly maintained in retrievable systems
Manage stores, support inductions and quote parts for repairs
Maintain back-of-house standards and engineering delivery standards
Communicate building issues to end users and Technical Services Manager
Pursue continuous improvement and innovation opportunities • Complete refresher training for safety-critical requirements
Understand operational protocols for alarm conditions and backup systems
Apply risk-focused maintenance approach to plant and systems operations
Obtain costs related to maintenance activities (specialist and self-perform)
Ensure maintenance follows JLL procedures and safe systems of work
Reports to Technical Management team.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
City & Guilds or equivalent
Building services, HVAC and facilities management knowledge
Health, Safety & Environmental knowledge and compliance experience
Supervisory experience managing contractors for maintenance and remedial services
Computer literacy including MS Office, Microsoft Project and databases
Experience in large, diverse organizations with proven EHS delivery track record
Understanding of building automation, complex systems and plant operations
