Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical construction activities on our EPC projects in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical construction team to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Plan and schedule daily work activities, assign tasks to team members, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
- Train and mentor team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure budget constraints are met.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to management.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience in a supervisory role is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage.
