Electrical Superintendents

to lead field operations across
commercial electrical construction projects throughout

Orlando and Central
Florida

. The ideal candidate is a proven construction leader with extensive
experience overseeing large-scale electrical projects, managing multiple field
teams, driving productivity, and ensuring safe, high-quality project execution
from preconstruction through closeout.


Position
Summary:


The
Electrical Superintendent is responsible for the overall leadership, planning,
coordination, and execution of electrical field operations. This role oversees
multiple Foremen, Lead Electricians, and field personnel while partnering
closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, Owners, and other project
stakeholders. The Electrical Superintendent is accountable for workforce
planning, project safety, quality control, schedule performance, material
coordination, and overall field productivity.


This
position serves as the senior field leader for assigned projects and plays a
critical role in delivering successful outcomes while developing future field
leaders within the organization.


Essential Functions:


  • Provide
    overall leadership and direction for electrical field operations on one or
    multiple commercial construction projects.

  • Supervise
    and support Electrical Foremen, Lead Electricians, and field personnel to
    ensure successful project execution.

  • Develop
    and manage workforce plans, manpower forecasts, and labor strategies to support
    project schedules and company objectives.

  • Collaborate
    with Project Managers and Operations leadership to establish project goals,
    milestones, and execution plans.

  • Review
    project drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and contracts to ensure
    field execution aligns with project requirements.

  • Lead
    project startup activities, site logistics planning, workforce mobilization,
    and construction sequencing efforts.

  • Monitor
    project schedules and proactively identify risks, delays, conflicts, and
    resource constraints.

  • Coordinate
    manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendors across multiple
    projects and job sites.

  • Conduct
    regular jobsite visits to evaluate safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping,
    and workforce performance.

  • Ensure
    all work is performed in compliance with NEC requirements, local codes,
    customer specifications, and company quality standards.

  • Lead
    project coordination meetings with owners, general contractors, inspectors,
    vendors, engineers, and other trades.

  • Monitor
    labor productivity and project performance metrics while implementing
    corrective actions when necessary.

  • Support
    estimating, preconstruction, procurement, and project planning efforts as
    needed.

  • Oversee
    installation quality, commissioning, punch list completion, turnover, and
    project closeout activities.

  • Conduct
    safety audits, enforce OSHA regulations, and champion RANDALL's safety-first
    culture.

  • Mentor,
    develop, and evaluate Foremen and emerging field leaders to strengthen
    organizational capability.

  • Assist
    with workforce recruitment, retention, succession planning, and employee
    development initiatives.

  • Promote
    continuous improvement, operational excellence, accountability, and
    professional trade craftsmanship throughout the Electrical Division.


Desired Qualification Requirements and
Attributes

:


  • Bilingual
    (English & Spanish)

  • Journeyman
    Electrician License (where required) or equivalent verifiable experience.

  • Minimum
    of

    12-15+ years of COMMERCIAL electrical construction experience

    ,
    including

    5+ years in a Superintendent, General Foreman, Senior Foreman, or
    equivalent leadership role

    .

  • Extensive
    experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, aviation,
    education, multifamily, hospitality, or mission-critical construction projects.

    Large scale, 10M+ projects.

  • Oversight
    of large 40+ electrical crews.

  • Demonstrated
    success overseeing multiple electrical crews and field leadership teams
    simultaneously.

  • Strong
    knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), applicable building codes, and
    commercial construction best practices.

  • Proven
    ability to manage project schedules, labor productivity, logistics planning,
    and field execution strategies.

  • Ability
    to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, electrical
    schematics, one-line diagrams, and project schedules.

  • Strong
    understanding of construction sequencing, pull planning, resource allocation,
    and project controls.

  • Experience
    with construction management software, digital project documentation, workforce
    planning tools, and mobile technology.

  • Exceptional
    leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.

  • Strong
    business acumen with the ability to balance safety, quality, productivity, and
    profitability objectives.

  • Excellent
    communication, presentation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management
    skills.

  • Valid
    driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

  • Ability
    to pass all required pre-employment screenings, including background check and
    drug screening.

  • OSHA
    30 Certification required; OSHA 500, NCCER, or other industry certifications
    preferred.

  • CPR/First
    Aid Certification preferred.

  • High
    level of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and leadership presence.

  • Customer-focused
    mindset with a commitment to project success and relationship development.


Physical Requirements:


This
is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job.

You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50
pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time.

You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and
lift as required by the job

, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see
and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective
gear.
