Electrical Superintendent
North Charlotte Metro Area | Direct Hire | $38–$42+/hr (DOE) + Bonuses

Our client, a well-established electrical contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee crews on commercial and industrial projects. In this leadership role, you’ll be responsible for supervising field teams, coordinating day-to-day operations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to high standards of quality. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring others, solving challenges in the field, taking ownership of jobsite execution, and representing a company known for its reliability and craftsmanship.


Electrical Superintendent Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall field leadership for commercial and industrial electrical projects, driving execution from mobilization through final turnover.
  • Review construction documents, specifications, and coordination drawings to ensure code compliance.
  • Direct site activities, establishing daily priorities, production targets, and quality standards across active job sites.
  • Oversee workforce planning, materials, equipment allocation, and other items as needed to maintain schedule and budget alignment.
  • Champion a culture of safety, enforcing site protocols and proactively mitigating risk.
  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison, partnering with project management, general contractors, inspectors, and owners to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Lead field problem-solving efforts, addressing design conflicts, sequencing challenges, and unforeseen site conditions with minimal disruption.
  • Track progress and provide updates to leadership.

Electrical Superintendent Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent on commercial/industrial projects.
  • Experience leading $2m+ value projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with an interest in training and team development.
  • Thorough knowledge of NEC standards and local codes.
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with field-based technology for scheduling and reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
