Electrical Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Location: Plano, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time / Direct-Hire

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical scopes on commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for managing field execution, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring all electrical work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within project expectations. The Electrical Superintendent plays a critical leadership role on-site, driving productivity while maintaining compliance with safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee electrical construction activities on commercial projects
• Manage field crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution
• Coordinate daily site operations, scheduling, and work sequencing
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality expectations
• Monitor progress and proactively address issues impacting schedule or performance
• Collaborate with project management and other trades to support overall project success

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and field execution
• Proven leadership experience managing teams or direct reports
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Background in electrical contracting and large-scale construction projects
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
