As an As an Electrical Site Servicing Representative you will leverage your expertise in electrical distribution, customer service, and project coordination to support commercial and residential clients across Calgary. This role is ideal for candidates skilled in stakeholder engagement, infrastructure upgrades, regulatory compliance, and navigating utility business processes in a dynamic work environment.
Major Responsibilities:
Act as first point of contact with all commercial/residential customers requesting electrical service, electrical upgrades, and infrastructure changes within ENMAX’s service territory.
Provide customers with an interface with ENMAX and help them navigate utility business processes to achieve their desired outcome or answer their query.
Make determination if the request requires the initiation of a new design project, and which associated business line should execute that project.
Assist customers with gathering necessary information to initiate a project or request with ENMAX and effectively communicate processes, procedures, and timelines.
Maintain accurate records which can be referred to throughout the project lifecycle.
Create, implement, and maintain the team’s project filing system to ensure integrity of project documentation and compliance with corporate standards
Initiate work requests, and prepare information packages for transfer to detailed design group or other stakeholders within ENMAX
Work with the Field Services Team to arrange for site checks, field visits, and any other on site requirements that may be needed during the information gathering of a project/query
Acquire specific project information to effectively initiate the design of a project or submission of a query to a stakeholder within ENMAX. This information includes load requirements, building and site information, customer construction schedule, etc.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ENMAX “Distribution Tariff Terms and Conditions”, “Requirements for Wires Access”, “Requirements for Site Servicing”, and technical guidelines/standards and effectively apply these criteria across all customer inquiries/projects.
Interface with other ENMAX departments to effectively redirect various customer inquiries and ensure follow through on a customer’s request.
Education Required:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of electric utility experience. An equivalent combination of education and industry related experience may be considered
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer facing role where the key responsibility was to communicate business processes, timelines, and procedures to various customers on a regular basis
A thorough understanding of electrical distribution systems (overhead and underground) and customer low voltage distribution equipment
Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Codes, Alberta Electrical Utility Codes, and utility regulations/standards
Proficiency with Maximo, the Microsoft Suite, and SharePoint would be an asset
Competencies:
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and listening skills
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a customer service approach would be ideal.
Ability to problem solve, manage difficult situations and be pro-active
The ability to deal with difficult matters related to customer requests and interpersonal conflict
Effective time management/information management skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Location:
This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
