The primary purpose of the Storesperson is through effective planning and management, control the flow of stock through the divisional stores, monitoring goods in and out, safely and efficiently moving and handling items and keeping stock records.
The Storesperson will be expected to plan and provide accurate information with regards to items in stock and react accordingly with the authority of the Divisional Manager when replenishing stock; receiving and checking all deliveries and ensuring all equipment, kit and stock are stored in the correct, safe and compliant manner.
A key aspect of this role is to manage the approach and conduct of other employees in relation to requisition for equipment and item to ensure request is entirely necessary and appropriate and to support business and works activities.
