The RoleWe’re seeking an Electrical Service Technician to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across a range of electrical systems, including emergency lighting, switchboards, and high-voltage infrastructure. You’ll partner with our clients and the Power Protect team to provide expert maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support, ensuring safe and reliable operation of critical electrical assets.
The role also involves client engagement, problem-solving, mentoring apprentices, and contributing to a safe, professional, and high-performing service culture.

What You’ll Be Doing
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance works across a variety of client sites
Perform maintenance and repairs on emergency lighting, switchboards, and high-voltage systems
Complete work orders and maintenance activities within required timeframes
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and system issues
Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors where required
Maintain accurate service reports and technical documentation
Work closely with Facilities Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence
Participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support
Ensure safe work practices and contribute to the company’s WHSE culture
Your Education, Experience & Skills
Certificate III in Electrotechnology (essential)
Qualified Supervisors Licence (essential)
White Card / General Construction Induction Card
Previous experience in electrical service and maintenance roles
Experience working with emergency lighting, switchboards, and/or high-voltage systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility with working hours and travel requirements
Experience mentoring apprentices highly regarded
Attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
Australian citizenship or ability to obtain required security clearances highly regarded
