NJR Home Services, a division of a New Jersey Resources, is seeking an Electrical Sales Supervisor to maintain NJR Home Services' Electrical License and ensure compliance with all applicable New Jersey electrical codes and regulations. This role oversees electrical operations, supports HVAC and plumbing installations, drives generator business growth and profitability, and leads the development and sales performance of generator product lines.
Major Responsibilities:
• Maintain and uphold the New Jersey Electrical License for NJR Home Services, ensuring compliance with all applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Lead and support electrical operations, including generator installations, electrical service work, and support for HVAC and plumbing projects.
• Supervise and develop union-represented electrical personnel while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Drive growth of generator and electrical service offerings through operational excellence and collaboration with sales teams.
• Partner with management to identify process improvements, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee electrical permitting requirements, code compliance, inspections, and relationships with local authorities having jurisdiction.
• Manage electrical tools, materials, inventory, and truck stock to support efficient field operations.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical operations, including leadership responsibility for personnel and business functions.
• Valid New Jersey Electrical License required.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams, with a strong focus on safety, performance, and customer service.
• Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
• Demonstrated business development or sales support experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, generator, or home services industries.
• Strong knowledge of New Jersey electrical codes, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Other Details:
Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $86,500- $116,500.
Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.
This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
