Job Description

Our client, a multinational company, engaged in design and supply of aluminum and glazing systems and façade lighting package is looking to hire an Electrical Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, developing relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and engineers in the construction industry
• Provide technical support and solutions for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
• Identify new business opportunities and pursue leads to drive sales growth in construction projects
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and technical reviews to gather information and develop technical proposals
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, to ensure customer needs are met
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in construction electrical systems and products

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in electrical sales, engineering, or a related field, with a focus on construction industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC) relevant to construction projects
• Excellent English communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Experience with electrical design software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of industry-specific products and technologies (e.g., electrical panels, generators, lighting systems)
• Experience with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid)
• Certification in electrical engineering (e.g., PE) or construction industry certifications (e.g., OSHA)
