In this role, you will provide expert oversight across the full project lifecycle, supporting major projects involving switchboards, transformers, power distribution systems, building management systems (BMS) and associated electrical infrastructure. Collaboration will be central to your success. You will partner with project teams, technical nominees, product managers and overseas engineering providers to establish compliant delivery models, ensure appropriate supervision, address product safety considerations and strengthen the management of electrical risks across complex and technically demanding projects.

Beyond project assurance, you will help build capability across the organisation by developing and delivering specialised training and competency programs covering electrical safety, compliance obligations, product safety, technical standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help empower our people and partners to confidently deliver safe, compliant and high-quality outcomes.

We are looking for a technically strong and pragmatic professional who can confidently operate across engineering, project delivery, compliance and safety environments. You will bring a strong understanding of Australian electrical standards, legislation, wiring rules and regulatory obligations, together with the ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into practical solutions.

You will be comfortable providing technical challenge, influencing stakeholders and working across multidisciplinary and geographically diverse teams. Experience supporting major infrastructure, electrical distribution or data centre projects will be highly regarded, as will experience in electrical compliance assurance, technical auditing, contractor management or product safety. Ideally you will have:

• Unrestricted electrician licence
• Technical Supervisor eligibility/experience
• 10+ years field experience
• Technical Supervisor eligibility/experience
• Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 4836 and state legislation
• Experience conducting compliance audits and certifications

Most importantly, you will share Siemens’ commitment to safety, quality, technical excellence and responsible innovation.

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in strengthening electrical safety and technical assurance across some of the complex projects and technologies shaping Australia and New Zealand’s infrastructure landscape.

If you are ready to bring your electrical expertise, regulatory knowledge and leadership capability to a role where your work can make a meaningful difference, we would like to hear from you.

We are committed to ensuring our workplace reflects the communities in which we operate, that everyone has access to the same opportunities and is treated fairly, and that we actively empower the voices of every individual voice.
