Job Description

Cummings Electrical is hiring a Quality Technician for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX.

Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC’s and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Verify Quality Standards from contractor drawings
  • Implementing industry and company best practices during inspections
  • Ensure the Quality of Product does not waver, regardless of schedule or cost impact
  • Interact closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met, while maintaining the highest standard of work possible
  • Filling out task related documentation
  • Conduct inspections and tests on products or services at various stages of the production or service delivery process
  • Documentation of Inspections, including reports and logs
  • Ensure company assigned tool and assets are in good condition
  • Preparation of daily/weekly progress reports
  • Hands on tool use for Quality Inspections
  • Keep emphasis on the product and services being the highest standard of Quality achievable
  • Conduct layout and coordination to assist in sequencing of all inspections for production team
  • Verify the correct product is being used during the installation process
  • Additional duties as required

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ Years Licensed Electrical Apprentice, preferred
  • Basic comprehension of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in computer knowledge and typing skills required
  • Basic Knowledge of Electrical installations, preferred
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties

Cummings Electrical, (Cummings) is one of the largest providers of electrical contracting services in DFW market.
