The Electrical Quality Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the excellence of our generator and electrical enclosures. Perform detailed enclosure and electrical inspections, supervise third party and customer inspections, and delegate tasks to keep operations running smoothly. Commitment to precision will help guarantee that every product meets the highest standards before reaching our customers. This role also supports the coordination and oversight of shipping essential enclosure components as needed.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical enclosures, generator systems, panel boards, transformers, and distribution equipment.
  • Supervise third‑party and customer inspections to ensure full compliance with quality standards.
  • Review and sign off on enclosure and electrical inspection forms with accuracy and professional accountability.
  • Collaborate across departments to prioritize tasks, coordinate workflows, and maintain project momentum.
  • Assist with the shipment of enclosures, tanks, and related parts as operational needs arise.
  • Promote and follow safe manufacturing and material‑handling practices in all work areas.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear, effective communication with internal teams.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills to meet deadlines and support project completion.
  • Exhibit teamwork and professionalism by collaborating effectively, offering assistance, and responding constructively to feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: minimum 2 – 3 years commercial/industrial experience preferred in addition to experience with panel boards, transformers and distribution equipment. State journeymen or master’s license a plus.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Medium voltage and electronics experience
  • State journeyman or master’s license; working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70 codes.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel to other Robinson facilities may be required at times.
