About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Coordinator to support a major remote industrial infrastructure project. This role will serve as the primary on-site QA coordination resource supporting electrical construction activities throughout project execution.
The successful candidate will work closely with contractor leadership, field teams, and project stakeholders to ensure quality processes, inspection readiness, turnover documentation, and
commissioning preparation are successfully delivered.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in fast-paced industrial construction environments, thrives on remote projects, and brings strong experience supporting quality systems, contractor coordination, and field execution activities.
This is a site-based FIFO rotation role (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off) supporting a remote industrial infrastructure project.
What You Will Be Working On
• Provide QA/QC coordination and oversight for electrical construction activities on site.
• Monitor contractor inspection records and support quality process implementation throughout project execution.
• Support implementation and maintenance of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate turnover documentation and support project turnover readiness activities.
• Assist with commissioning preparation and quality closeout requirements.
• Coordinate closely with contractor project management teams and site leadership.
• Track project documentation and support schedule and reporting requirements.
• Provide general project support including logistics coordination, project controls assistance, and field coordination activities.
• Support quality documentation systems and ensure records remain organized and current.
• Work collaboratively with contractors, construction teams, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Promote RAM’s commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with preference given to candidates with 10–15+ years supporting industrial or infrastructure construction projects.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.
• Electrical trade background will also be considered.
• Strong experience supporting electrical construction QA/QC, Instrumentation and controls systems, commissioning readiness, turnover documentation, construction coordination, contractor-led project execution environments
• Experience supporting industrial construction, infrastructure construction, or remote construction projects.
• Experience working within contractor execution or EPC/EPCM project environments is considered an asset.
• Project controls exposure or field engineering background is beneficial.
• Mining, utility infrastructure, or water treatment project experience is considered an asset.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills required.
• Experience with document management systems and QA/QC checklist platforms required.
• Experience with Procore, Aconex, contractor QA platforms, or schedule tracking systems is considered an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (or provincial equivalent) required.
• Ability and willingness to work remote FIFO rotations and camp-based assignments.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated hourly base rate for this position is $85.00 + LOA per travel day as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
