The Opportunity

Reporting to the Electrical Regional Manager, this exciting opportunity for a new Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical, communications, and mechanical infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle from design and construction through to delivery and commissioning.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while working collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams across Downer Energy & Utilities.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure projects within a dynamic and supportive environment focused on safety, performance, and operational excellence.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary qualification specialised in Electrical
• Tertiary qualification in Project Management
• Leadership qualifications (Frontline Management or the like)
• Minimum 5 years of complex project management experience within the Construction sector, specifically Water
• Experience in Management of safety, quality and environmental issues
• Sub-contractor management
• Financial management and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting
• Production & Productivity reporting
• Proven team management and leadership experience
• Proven direct workforce management

• Demonstrated experience driving & achieving results
