The Opportunity

We are actively seeking a new Electrical Project Manager to join our growing Water and Wastewater sector. Reporting to Electrical Regional Manager, this role is responsible to deliver optimal project outcomes of design, construct, deliver and commissioning Electrical, Communications infrastructure projects at Downer Energy & Utilities

As you will be managing a number of projects across the programs, this role can be flexible on location across Brisbane. We have office locations at the Airport, Beenleigh, Fortitude Valley and Mango Hill.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary qualification specialised in Electrical Engineering
• Tertiary qualification in Project Management
• Leadership qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of complex project management experience within the Construction or Water sector
• Demonstrated experience in: Management of safety, quality and environmental issues
• Sub-contractor management
• Financial management and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting
• Production & Productivity reporting
• Proven team management and leadership experience
• Proven direct workforce management
• Demonstrated experience driving & achieving results
