
FlexStaff is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for our Client, a leading global manufacturer, located in Hudson Valley region, NY.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Power Systems.
Knowledge of Programming languages such as ladder logic, assembly, Visual C++, etc.
Experience with electronics, instrumentation, and PLC’s in industrial applications
In this role you will be serving as a primary point of customer contact for all project technical issues, and responsible for seeing a project through from proposal to completion of startup
Responsibilities:
Own engineering delivery for assigned system projects, ensuring compliance with specs, codes, and industry standards.
Partner with the Project Manager to build detailed schedules and coordinate resources.
Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and service teams to define requirements and support testing/implementation.
Serve as the primary technical customer interface throughout the project.
Prepare project closeout materials (punch list and closeout report).
Drive corrective actions per the company procedures.
Interpret vendor drawings and other technical documents.
Develop and approve technical submittals, drawings, and specifications; work with Drafting on customer-specific control system drawings.
Lead design reviews with Drafting, Production, and Engineering to ensure compliance with the company standards.
Create MOPs for FAT, site start-up, and SAT; obtain customer approval.
Support field technicians during startup, testing, and troubleshooting of power system controls.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
