Job Description

As an Electrical Project Design Engineer, you will support the design, planning, and delivery of large-scale solar projects from concept through to completion, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is an office-based role located in Brisbane.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Review and approve designs to meet Australian Standards
  • Develop and review solar farm electrical designs
  • Prepare specifications and assess supplier proposals
  • Support consultants and check compliance
  • Contribute to tenders with preliminary designs
  • Provide site and construction support
  • Review testing and commissioning results
  • Ensure compliance with standards and Grid Codes
  • Manage risks and deliver quality designs
  • Collaborate across teams and suppliers
  • Promote high technical standards and business growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • At least 1 year of primary design experience.
  • At least 1 years’ experience in solar farms, BESS, or power generation
  • Strong time management with planning, scheduling, and budgeting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
