The Electrical Professional Engineer (기기술사) is responsible for overseeing electrical design projects and ensuring compliance with the ‘Engineering Industry Promotion Act’ and the ‘Electric power Technology Management Act’ and all applicable laws, regulations, codes, and standards. He is also responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems across business operations and projects. This role ensures system safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards while supporting both engineering design and project execution.

Essential functions & Responsibilities:

Electrical Design & Engineering

  • Design electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, MCC, and control panels
  • Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and protection coordination
  • Prepare and review electrical drawings (single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, layouts)
  • Oversee electrical design projects and ensure compliance with electrical standards and codes

Engineering Documentation & Specification

  • Develop electrical specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation
  • Prepare and maintain bill of materials (BOM) and equipment lists
  • Review engineering deliverables for accuracy and completeness

Project Execution & Coordination

  • Coordinate with project, procurement, and construction teams
  • Interface with vendors for equipment design and delivery
  • Support implementation throughout project lifecycle

Testing & Commissioning

  • Support FAT, SAT, and site commissioning activities
  • Verify installation and system performance
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform root cause analysis

System Integration & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with instrumentation and automation engineers
  • Ensure integration between electrical and control systems
  • Support multidisciplinary coordination

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Support audits and quality assurance activities
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions

자격 요건

Requirements & Skills:

  • Must be registered as a “Professional Engineer” grade in the Korea Electric Engineers Association (KEEA) career management system.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in electrical design and power systems for more than 10 years
  • Understanding of low/medium voltage systems and protection
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar tools
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • English communication skills
