Afinitas is Hiring an Electrical & Mechanical Assembly Techician!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the assembly/routing of electrical systems from schematics.
  • Resolving all personnel issues within the department.
  • Interface between machine assembly and other departments.
  • Promote safety with the team by leading safety meetings.
  • Keeps the workflow moving by providing assigned duties and the material needs for the completion of assignments.
  • Welding of structural components from blueprints.
  • Meet established production and quality standards.
  • Assembly of machinery, and routing of hydraulic and pneumatics.
  • Demonstrates leadership quality to the team.
  • Supports team with any resources required to build quality machinery.
  • Conform to all company attendance, safety, and personnel policies.
  • Any other assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
  • Must possess good electrical and robotics aptitude.
  • Read drawings and AWS weld symbols.
  • Add, subtract, divide, and multiply whole numbers/fractions.
  • Have knowledge of overhead crane use and operation.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with customer service departments by phone and in person.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to comply with all work-related deadlines and work overtime when required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; able to handle shifting priorities and deadlines; able to property prioritize.
  • Work with a team and in a team environment.
  • Have good housekeeping habits, and strict adherence to safety procedures.
  • Take personal ownership and pride in the quality of work.
  • Willing to assist wherever needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.
