Job Description

Boral Cement is a leader in sustainable building materials, supporting critical infrastructure projects across Australia. We’re offering 5 full-time Electrical and Mechanical Apprenticeships for motivated individuals ready to start a rewarding trade career in a dynamic industrial environment across our Marulan, Berrima and Maldon sites.

Mechanical Apprenticeship (Marulan & Berrima)

As a Mechanical Apprentice, you'll work with experienced tradespeople maintaining and repairing heavy industrial equipment such as pumps, conveyors, and mechanical systems at our cement plants. You’ll also be enrolled in a TAFE Mechanical Engineering course, combining classroom learning with practical, on-the-job experience.

What You'll Learn:

  • Maintenance and installation of mechanical systems

  • Fault-finding and troubleshooting

  • Hands-on work with industrial machinery

  • Safety procedures and technical reporting

Electrical Apprenticeship (Marulan, Berrima & Maldon)

As an Electrical Apprentice, you’ll assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in a large-scale production environment. You’ll gain valuable experience working with advanced electrical equipment while completing a TAFE Electrical qualification

What You'll Learn:

  • Electrical system maintenance and repair

  • Troubleshooting circuits and machinery

  • Industrial electrical practices

  • Safety and compliance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for hands-on work and problem-solving

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures

  • Completion of Year 10 or higher (Maths/Science preferred)

  • Must have unrestricted driver's license (P's minimum) by January 2027
  • Minimum age: 17
