& Key Responsibilities
Technical Advisory: Provide expert guidance on E&M system design (traction power, signaling, telecommunications, platform screen doors) from conceptual to detailed design stages.
Design & Tender Review: Review contractor submissions, tender documents, technical specifications, and design drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Project Management & Coordination: Oversee the coordination between multi-disciplinary teams, construction contractors, and subcontractors to avoid delays.
Site Supervision & Safety: Monitor on-site construction activities, ensuring installations meet quality standards, safety protocols, and technical specifications.
Commissioning Support: Lead or support the testing and commissioning of E&M plant and equipment, ensuring close-out of deficiencies.
Risk Mitigation: Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities to provide progress reports and resolve technical disputes
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in the design and construction supervision of railway projects (MRT, LRT, Metro, or High-Speed Rail).
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of railway systems, safety standards, and international regulations.
Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with FIDIC contracts (specifically Yellow Book) is often preferred.
Software Skills: Proficiency in CAD, MS Project, and other project management tools.
