SUPERVISES: There are direct reports with this position.
Under minimal supervision, the Electrical Manager is responsible to manage electrical maintenance and repair services for the specified facilities according to PRIDE’s contract at a military installation. Employees in this job class will oversee all electrical and related maintenance staff to ensure compliance. This job requires extensive knowledge of electrical systems, in particular older electrical systems.
TYPICAL DUTIES: 1. *Plans, organizes and manages contractually provided delivery of electrical maintenance and repair services for facilities according to PWS.2. *Manages compliance with contract terms, conditions and obligations.3. *Supervises employees; ensures a competent, motivated team through hiring, training, development, counseling and reviewing the performance of employees. 4. *Develops a professional working relationship with key contract personnel, and establishes official lines of communication.5. *Provides for quality control, inventory management, record keeping, and management reporting.6. *Assists in the development, implementation and management of a preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance program that includes predictive testing and inspection of equipment and systems.7. *Ensure staff conducts all work in a safe manner, incorporating random tool box safety topics.8. *Schedules and prioritize tasks and ensure adherence to procedures, regulations and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks9. *Schedule and manage power shut downs.10. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Five years experience electrical experience; including three years in a supervisory role;• Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting old electrical systems;• Supervisory skills to hire qualified employees, provide for their professional development, administer performance management and disciplinary processes effectively, and address employee relations appropriately;• Ability to effectively supervise and develop assigned team to meet production/service goals while adhering to safety policies and rules;• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to make presentations and respond to inquiries by senior management, customers and/or employees;• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills;• Exceptional customer service skills;• Human relation skills to build effective relationships with team, customers and public;• Advanced computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software;• Knowledge of business English including vocabulary, spelling, and correct grammatical usage and punctuation;• Mathematical skills to include the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations;• Ability to establish priorities and solve a wide range of business, operational and strategic management problems; • Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time.

Fed Security Clearance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
• Answering phone/making calls• Maneuvering in and around the worksite• May require standing, walking, walking on uneven surfaces • Viewing computer screen• Utilizing keyboard • Bending, kneeling, stooping and reaching• May require fine motor coordination, concentration and good vision to differentiate between colors• May require climbing ladders
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed at a customer’s location in office, shop, warehouse, or outdoor environment. May require driving to and from worksite locations. Equipment can be located in crawl spaces, rooftops, and outside facility. Employees may be exposed to hazardous and/or toxic substances, electrical shock, noise from equipment, and depending on external weather conditions, wind, rain, cold, and heat.
