• Undertakes activities on all machines or within all functional areas.
• Job holder carries out various tasks, where choices based on comparisons and experience need to be made, with a focus on information provision. Mainly repetition of the predetermined activities with possibility of making improvements of the process. Supporting junior staff. Activities are mainly routine, but adaptation to deviation is required in relevant situations.
• Job holder carries out and adjusts procedures, guidelines and work instructions, discusses these with other departments and ensures quality and expertise improvement of work activities.
• Works on all (production) lines at a site or location.
• Can work independently on operational level with a little or no supervision from lead/supervisor for all activities.
OR
• Applies a specialized understanding of the total technical support area and systems within scope, as well as interfaces with the business, in order to implement system changes, and processes.
• Handles a range of activities but within a limited and well-defined area of responsibility, often requiring variation and adaptation. Deals with questions with precedents but not necessarily easy to apply, adjustment with many sources of information necessary.
• Works within a variety of well-defined procedures and practices. Supervised on progress and results; informs management about analysis outcomes. Works autonomously within this scope, with regular steer required e.g. on project scope and prioritisation. May coach less experienced colleagues.
• Advises internal stakeholders on topics related to defined area of responsibility.
