Responsibilities


  • Maintain, operate and upgrade physical assets such as BMS (Building Management System), HVAC, Electrical distribution systems (middle and low voltage), Lighting, Fire detection systems, Video surveillance systems, etc.

  • Actively participate and assist in delivering a maintenance management system and energy management system
    Collaborating with other maintenance team members to address cross-functional issues

  • Improving the performance of functioning physical assets and managing energy-saving initiatives in line with the organization’s sustainability goals.

  • Writing of internal procedures for relevant areas

  • Evaluation and active participation in infrastructure design, production layouts, technical flow charts, location plans and facility infrastructure equipment

  • Completing or overseeing a variety of assignments to carry out the construction, remodeling and renovation

  • Preparation, collection and evaluation of tenders, awarding contracts, as well as technical and commercial handling with suppliers and subcontractors

  • Supervising teams of internal or external staff

  • Ability to prepare engineering specifications, statements of work, and estimates for a wide range of infrastructure and facility related projects with a focus on electrical installation

  • Collect and evaluate data of energy consumption patterns and identify opportunities for reducing energy usage while improving operational efficiency.

  • Ensuring that facilities meet legal requirements and environmental, health and security standards

  • Review and monitoring of current facility processes to optimize efficiency

Skills & Experience


  • A Master’s degree in a relevant Electrical Engineering discipline

  • Minimum of three years experience in electrical maintenance, facility management, or a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment

  • Knowledge of ISO 50001 and energy management systems (Desirable)

  • Good knowledge of Electrical circuit diagrams (must have)

  • Intermediate computer skills (e.g. MS Office including Excel and Word) are essential

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD (Desirable)

  • Knowledge of diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem-solving methods and techniques such as root cause analysis

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
