We rely on our colleagues to identify how this can be done. With this in mind, we are recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our close-knit team in Glasgow to help the site maintain its great track record.
What's the mission?
The Glasgow site is based to the North of the City in Bishopbriggs and supplies the whole of Scotland and the North of England. This is a great opportunity to bring your new ideas to life and have an immediate impact on our operation whilst building a career path with Marley. You will undertake a variety of engineering tasks, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure. You will have responsibility for maintaining site electrical services, equipment and machinery.
Working as part of our Engineering team, your main responsibilities will be to provide breakdown faut diagnosis and repair a the well as to carry out routine electrical maintenance.
Play a key role in ensuring site equipment, machinery, and electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement projects while maintaining compliance with electrical regulations, health and safety standards, and quality procedures. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you will manage priorities, provide technical feedback through SAP, contribute to asset improvement initiatives, and help maintain a high-standard workplace through 5S principles. This is a hands-on role requiring strong problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork, and a proactive approach to maintenance and reliability.
You will work 48 hours per week on days (5:00am - 5:00pm) on a 4 on - 4 off shift pattern.
