Summary/Objective: LOGZONE is seeking a Lead Electrician serving a government contract at EPA Edison, New Jersey. The Lead Electrician will oversee other contractor personnel on site, including stationary engineers, electricians, and general maintenance workers.
The Lead Electrician must have five (5) years as a licensed electrician in the state of New Jersey. They must have experience with secondary power operations with deep NEC/NEPA 70 and 70E knowledge, managing continuous Operations and Maintenance, alterations, and repairs of feeders, switchgear, panelboards, and branch/specialty circuits for commercial and laboratory applications.
The Lead Electrician must be a critical power specialist. They will ensure preventative and corrective maintenance of uninterrupted power supply, batteries, capacitators, fans, calibration, power-quality analysis, emergency generators and ATS. The Lead Electrician will conduct IR thermography, load-bank/transfer testing, and will integrate monitoring for high reliability.
The Lead Electrician must also be an installation and diagnostics expert. They will install and troubleshoot lighting (fixtures, ballasts/LED drivers), motors/VFDs, sanitary pump controls, breakers/fuses, and lab circuits (isolated grounds, clean power). The Lead Electrician will execute modernization of distribution systems, CMMS-driven PMs, details as-builts, and strict code/safety compliance.
