What You’ll Do:
- Install wiring, conduit, electrical systems, and equipment including motors, switches, outlets, panels, and lighting fixtures
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment such as voltmeters and multimeters
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components and systems
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety regulations
- Estimate materials and labor requirements for projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and diagnostic results
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and project managers
- Mentor and support apprentice electricians as needed
What You’ll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical Journeyperson or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to climb ladders and work in various physical positions, including standing, kneeling, stooping, and bending
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and squat as required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and work in various construction site environments
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with commercial electrical construction
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
