Job Description

Lesaffre Egypt for yeast industries is an Egyptian joint stock company for producing baking yeasts and yeasts extract. We are 100% owned by the holding company and part of Middle East & Africa baking region.

Lesaffre Egypt was established according to the Investment Guarantees and Incentives Law No. 8 of 1997, and registered in the Commercial Registry Office of Cairo Investment authority under No. 65570 on April, 14, 2013.

Our main operational purpose is to establish, manufacture, and package yeasts, yeast derivatives, and yeasts extracts. These many forms and types are then used within food products, animal feed, bread-making and bread improvers, flavorings, colors, and enzymes.

In October 2014, Lesaffre Egypt for yeasts industry (S.A.E) began effectively managing the acquired company.

Lesaffre Egypt’s main office is located in the Giza Governorate of Sheikh Zayed City while the factory is placed in the Nubaryia Industrial Area of El Beheira Governorate. We also have a Baking Center and Logistics Warehouse in 6th of October City. Currently, We employ more than 200 individual

  • Supervise Automation Engineer and electrical technicians on repairs, improvements and troubleshooting
  • Review daily maintenance inspection reports & work orders and classify them into corrective or preventive maintenance categories so that work plan can be drawn up.
  • Preventive electrical maintenance tasks follow up
  • Electrical equipment service conduction & follow-up service visits.
  • Technical meetings attendance.
  • Responding immediately to troubleshoot, fixing faults and arranging for replacements to be installed for equipment breakdowns
  • Preparing the major interventions reports
  • Preparing monthly/weekly reports of power consumption
  • In place supervision of electrical, instrumentation and automation investment & commissioning
  • Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment, components, and installations
  • Follow up electrical spare parts balance
  • Contributes and organizes electrical and automation commissioning when new equipment is installed or when current equipment is replaced
  • Participate and provide technicality during the FAT, SAT and commissioning Phases
  • Supervises on vacation planning of engineers and technicians to ensure smooth work conditions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Electrical power Engineering.
  • 4-5 years technical experience in electrical maintenance in industrial sector.
  • FMCG experience is preferred.
  • Experience in multinational company is a plus.

COMPENTENCIES NEEDED FOR THE POSITION

  1. Deep understanding of electrical power systems, and control systems.
  2. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  4. Knowledge of Local Safety rules, regulations, and Electrical maintenance operations.
  5. Deep knowledge of MV switchgears, MV protection, VSDs, and servo drives.
  6. Microsoft software and SAP plus.
