What You’ll Do:
As a Residential Electrician – New Construction, you’ll be responsible for installing electrical systems in new residential developments according to NEC and local codes. Your duties will include:
Installing and repairing wiring, electrical systems, and fixtures
Connecting systems to power lines
Installing conduits, circuit breakers, and other components
Reading blueprints and technical drawings
Inspecting and testing systems for safety and accuracy
Replacing wiring, conduit, or breakers as needed
Performing other related duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Role:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of residential new construction experience
Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
Ability to read blueprints and use diagnostic tools
Proficient with hand tools and power tools
Must have own tools and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR
Preferred: Electrician’s license and completion of a formal apprenticeship
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to see color-coded wiring
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, scaffolding, and in tight spaces
Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, and pulling cables through conduits
