Electrical Improver

Valoris Group Ltd | Various Sites Across Farnham | £25,000 £32,000 DOE | Full-Time | Permanent

Valoris Group is working in partnership with a leading electrical contractor to recruit an Electrical Improver to support commercial and domestic projects across the Farnham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual working toward full electrician status to gain experience alongside a skilled team on live installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting Electricians with installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems

• Pulling cable, containment work (tray, trunking, conduit), and 1st/2nd fix wiring

• Supporting fault-finding and remedial work under supervision

• Maintaining tools, equipment, and site cleanliness in line with health & safety standards

• Working effectively with site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time

• Following instructions from site supervisors and working in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)

What Were Looking For

• Minimum of 1 years site-based experience as an Electrical Improver or Electricians Mate

• NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (in progress or completed)

• ECS Card (essential)

• Awareness of site health and safety practices

• Basic tools and PPE (or willing to obtain)

• Reliable, hardworking and eager to develop your electrical career

• Ability to commute to various project sites daily

• Right to work in the UK

Desirable (Not Essential)

• 18th Edition (or working towards)

• IPAF / PASMA / Asbestos Awareness / Working at Heights

• Experience in commercial, residential, or renewable energy sectors
